Joy Bonner

Associate

Joy earned her J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2020. Following graduation, Joy served as a compliance coordinator and legal fellow for the University of Georgia Athletic Association. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Joy graduated summa cum laude from Georgia Southern University in 2017 with a B.S. in Justice Studies. While in law school, Joy played an active role on campus and within the Athens community. She served as Community Service Chair and third-year Executive Board Advisor for the Black Law Students Association, connecting her peers with numerous service organizations in Athens, Georgia. In addition, during her time in law school, Joy served as the Vice-President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society. Prior to joining the firm, Joy practiced civil litigation in Savannah, Georgia.
