CHAD MCDONALD

Associate

Chad McDonald focuses his practice on health care law.  As an experienced litigator, Mr. McDonald has defended hospitals, physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals in medical malpractice and other liability matters in federal and state courts. He has also represented physicians and nurses in investigations and hearings before professional licensing boards in Georgia. Aside from litigation, Mr. McDonald assists health care providers with compliance issues, including telehealth, HIPAA privacy and security, and regulations pertaining to end stage renal disease facilities. Mr. McDonald has negotiated employment agreements, partnership agreements, and separation agreements for both individual health care professionals and entities.

Mr. McDonald graduated from Georgia State University College of Law with the Health Law Certificate, both with Honors. While at Georgia State, he was a student editor of the Journal of Legal Medicine and a Graduate Research Assistant with the Center for Law, Health, and Society.
