An experienced member of the firm’s workers’ compensation team, Rodney Hood focuses his practice on defending employers and insurers in workers’ compensation claims throughout the state. His expertise includes litigating cases before the State Board of Workers’ Compensation, at both the trial and appellate levels. Mr. Hood is also skilled in identifying and handling claims that are favorably suited for cost-effective forms of alternative dispute resolution such as mediation or early claim negotiation with the opposing party. Mr. Hood also practices in the area of general civil litigation, with his work having included the defense of companies in tort cases and contract disputes in state and superior courts in Georgia.
